there comes a time in your life

when you stop caring what everyone else thinks. when you finally grow up and realize you don't need everyone else to be happy. when you actually cherish the time you have with yourself. to be quite honest, i never thought i'd hit this phase; to me it was all about everyone's thought on how i looked and how smart i was. everyone made up my mind for me. lately i've learned you don't always need someone there for yourself. being independent is beautiful, so be it. everyone else doesn't matter in your life. don't be the typical girl who gossips about everyone. choose to be different. choose to stand out. choose the people who make you happy, choose the people who make you laugh and make you want to be a better person because i promise you, you won't get anywhere with people who are fake.
